Plans and pricing: what each Deskwoot plan includes
Deskwoot has 4 plans: Hacker (free), Startup at $4 per agent per month, Business at $8, and Enterprise at $12. Pricing is per agent, so a 3-person team on Business pays for 3 seats. Every plan above the free tier gets cheaper if you pay annually (Startup $3.20, Business $6.40, Enterprise $9.60 per agent per month). Every new account starts on a 7-day Enterprise trial, so you can try every feature before you decide where to land.
What does each plan cost?
| Plan | Monthly (per agent) | Annual (per agent) |
|---|---|---|
| Hacker | Free | Free |
| Startup | $4 | $3.20 |
| Business | $8 | $6.40 |
| Enterprise | $12 | $9.60 |
The annual price is what you pay each month when you commit to a year up front. You are billed for the seats you have, so adding or removing an agent changes the bill.
What is in the Hacker plan?
Hacker is the free tier and a real starting point, not a teaser. You get inboxes across our channels, a shared place to handle conversations, contact management, and 10 AI conversations a month included. It is enough for a solo founder or a small side project that just needs one place to answer customers. The growth tools (reporting, bots, automation) start on Startup.
What does Startup add?
Startup is where the helpdesk starts working for you instead of just storing messages. It unlocks reporting, the AI bot Fynn and AI Copilot, the Training Hub that grounds the AI in your own content, labels, canned responses, automation rules, and macros. It includes 50 AI conversations a month. Startup is also the first plan where you can bring your own OpenAI or Anthropic key for the live chat bot, and those conversations do not count against your monthly AI total.
What does Business add?
Business is built for a real support team rather than one or two people. On top of everything in Startup it adds teams (group agents and route work to them), custom attributes on contacts and conversations, and CSAT surveys to measure how customers feel about each resolution. It includes 100 AI conversations a month.
What does Enterprise add?
Enterprise is for larger or more regulated teams. On top of Business it unlocks REST API access, the MCP server (so an outside AI agent can operate the helpdesk through scoped tokens), custom roles for fine-grained permissions, SLA policies, audit logs, and white-label branding. It includes 300 AI conversations a month.
How does per-agent pricing work?
You pay for each agent seat on your plan. An agent is anyone who logs in to handle conversations. If you are 4 people on Business paying monthly, that is 4 times $8. Add a 5th teammate and the bill goes up by one seat; remove someone and it goes down. Contacts (your customers) are never counted as agents and never cost a seat.
What about the AI conversations included with each plan?
AI usage runs on one shared meter. The bot Fynn and AI Copilot both draw from it, and a single conversation is counted once per month no matter how many times the AI touches it. Each plan includes a monthly allowance: Hacker 10, Startup 50, Business 100, Enterprise 300. If you go over, you pay per extra conversation: $0.07 on Startup, $0.05 on Business, $0.03 on Enterprise. You can turn on auto-recharge so the AI keeps working past the included amount, with a default top-up of $10 and a cap on how often it recharges in a month.
How does the free trial work?
Every new signup starts a 7-day trial on the Enterprise plan. That means you can test every feature, including the Enterprise-only ones like the REST API and SLA policies, before you commit. When the trial ends you pick the plan that fits, and you can stay on Hacker for free if that is all you need. There is no charge during the trial.
