Slack notifications

Connect Deskwoot to your Slack workspace to receive real-time notifications about new conversations, messages, and other events directly in your Slack channels.

Connecting Slack

Go to Settings > Integrations and find Slack. Click 'Connect' and authorize Deskwoot to access your Slack workspace. Select the default channel where notifications should be posted (you can customize this later).

Choosing notification events

Configure which events trigger Slack notifications: new conversations created, new messages received, conversation assignments, status changes, and more. You can enable or disable each event type individually.

Channel routing

Route notifications to different Slack channels based on the inbox. For example, send website chat notifications to #support-chat and email notifications to #support-email. Configure channel mappings in the integration settings.

Interacting from Slack

Deskwoot notifications in Slack include action buttons. Click 'View in Deskwoot' to jump directly to the conversation. This makes it easy to stay informed in Slack while managing conversations in Deskwoot.
