Fynn books appointments into your Outlook calendar
Connect a Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com account, and Fynn offers your customers free times from the calendars you pick, books the one they choose and takes care of cancellations and moves. Your team confirms each step with 1 tap, or Fynn does it on his own.
Overview
Someone who asks for an appointment in the chat would rather get a time than a link. Fynn reads when your Outlook calendars are busy and offers up to 3 free times in the conversation, on the channel the customer wrote on: website chat, email, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, SMS or X.
You pick the calendars customers can book, for example one per person or one per room, and the name Fynn uses for each, so a customer can ask for Anna by name. Other calendars of the same account can block times as well, such as a private one. Deskwoot only asks when a calendar is busy and never reads the title, description, attendees or location of your events.
Appointment types set what customers can book and how long it takes, like a haircut of 45 minutes. Your bookable hours, the minimum notice, how many days ahead people can book and a buffer around busy times decide which times Fynn offers. He always gets the customer's yes before he books, and in live chat he asks for an email address first, because every message about the appointment also goes out by email.
You decide who has the last word, separately for new bookings, cancellations and moves. By default Fynn holds the time and your team confirms it with 1 tap on the card in the conversation. You can also let Fynn book, cancel or move on his own after the customer's yes, and he lets your team know. Each booked appointment becomes a private event without attendees in the calendar it was booked into, with the customer's contact details and a link to the conversation.
You can connect Outlook on every plan, the Free plan included. Fynn offers and books times on every paid plan, and the 7 day trial includes that too. Outlook works with Microsoft 365 work or school accounts and with personal Outlook.com accounts. If your Microsoft 365 organization lets only administrators approve apps, Deskwoot gives you a link to send to your administrator.
What you get with the Outlook Calendar integration
Free times right in the chat
Fynn reads your Outlook calendars live and offers up to 3 free times, written out with the time zone so they work on every channel.
A calendar per person or room
You can make up to 20 calendars bookable and give each the name customers know. When several are free at the same time, Fynn books the first one in your order.
Confirm with 1 tap, or let Fynn decide
Choose who decides new bookings, cancellations and moves: your team on the card in the conversation, or Fynn after the customer's yes.
Your events stay private
Deskwoot reads only when a calendar is busy. Its own events are private and have no attendees, so the calendar sends no invitations.
