Setting up AI Co-Pilot

Deskwoot's AI Co-Pilot uses OpenAI or Anthropic models to help your agents work faster. It can suggest replies, summarize conversations, improve drafts, and translate messages.

Configuring the AI provider

Go to Settings > Bots and create a new AI bot. Choose your provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) and enter your API key. Select a model - GPT-4o or Claude Sonnet are recommended for best results. You can optionally write a system prompt to customize the AI's behavior and tone.

Using AI assist in conversations

When viewing a conversation, click the AI assist button in the reply toolbar. Choose an action: 'Suggest Reply' generates a full response based on conversation context. 'Summarize' creates a bullet-point summary. 'Improve Draft' refines your written reply. 'Translate' converts your message to the customer's language.

AI with Help Center context

Enable the 'Use Help Center' option on your AI bot to include your knowledge base articles as context. This helps the AI generate more accurate responses based on your actual documentation and policies.
